OPEN PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION & EXHIBITION

SATURDAY & SUNDAY 3rd & 4th OCTOBER 2020

AT CHRIST CHURCH COMMUNITY HALL

BLACKBURN ROAD, EGERTON

TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE ECOLOGY OF OUR AREA AND ENCOURAGE CONSERVATION.

There are five distinct classes to enter:

WATERWAYS –Rivers, Reservoirs and Streams

WALKWAYS –  Paths not pavements

WOODLAND –   Pine Forest or Deciduous

WILDLIFE –     Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Foxes,         Rabbits, Deer etc.

WILD FLORA –Moorland, Valley & Forestry Flowers.

The onset of the Coronavirus has delayed the launch of the competition, but with the possibility that the lockdown will be lifted in the coming weeks it presents the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful area during the coming months. So, cameras at the ready, to collect that special photograph to enter the competition.

RULES OF ENTRY

1. Photographs must have been taken within the Turton Team Area during 2020. (see map)

2. Photographs must not exceed size A4 – 8.25” x 11.75” (210 x 297 mm)

3. Photographs submitted are NON-returnable and may be used by the Team Churches, in a calendar for example, but would acknowledge the photographer.

4. All submissions must be delivered by hand on the 14th & 15th September 2020 at Christ Church, Blackburn Road, Egerton between 2.00 & 3.00 pm or 6.00 & 8.00 pm

5. When you make your submission, you must have a completed form for each photograph, which can be downloaded from the website or could be completed when you attend.
